What we stand for:

Power of the people to eat the way they want but to also respect and preserve the way this world was made to work.  We, as a people, have a duty to respect and love this world and devote ourselves to its welfare.  It’s not just about satisfying the consumer, its being a husband to the land and animals; to love, cherish and dote on all their  needs and be eternally thankful to the Lord for the bounty in return.  We are not here to be rapist but, to be husbands.  It is our God given ability and we take it as a privledge.

This was written by our youngest daughter at 17 years old (2016) and it is a true reflection of what we stand for.  She gained this viewpoint after being raised on our family farm from the age of 4.

When we first started this venture and we were developing into "farmers" (see History for the whole story), my husband and I often wondered what this would do to our kids and worried about the negative impact since we've heard so many stories from our peers who grew up on a farm and fought to get away from it.  So, it was a relief to read the passage above and to know that growing up on a farm can have a positive impact on a child too - it was especially insightful and rewarding coming from our own child!
